On today's episode I talk about what's happening when you feel
compelled to eat, and what you can do about it.
Most of us often feel compelled to eat things, knowing that it
has nothing to do with physical hunger.
Oftentimes we think something will taste really good so we
desire it, and sometimes maybe we're feeling frustrated and want
something to take our mind of what we're frustrated about, or maybe
we're feeling in need of some comfort and we want those foods that
make us feel better.
Our usual response is either to have, to eat whatever it is
that we want, or to try and use our will power and resist eating
and to try and push those feelings away. You may have done this
before to try and avoid eating things when you've been
dieting.
Well today I talk you through a third option. How to embrace
those feelings, the desire, the frustration and the discomfort,
whatever it is you may be feeling, so that you can process them,
and enable them to dissipate, so that you feel better - without
eating.
It's a skill that once learned becomes a total game changer if
you want to find new freedom around food.
Listen in to find out more.
